  • The Molecular and Nanoscale Physics Group AFM Lab hosts an extensive range of commercial and custom-built AFM microscopes including;
  • 3 Bruker Multimode AFMs
  • A Bruker Dimensions 3100 Nanoman AFM
  • A Bruker Bioscope I AFM
  • A customised Bruker Multimode Picoforce AFM
  • 2 Asylum Research MFP-3D-SAs
  • Magnetic Tweezers
  • A GFM Primos Optical Profiler
  • A Force clamp AFM - please contact Lorna Dougan for further details.
  • The Lab also contains sample preparation facilities and other AFM related hardware for more specialised applications.

    The Main Lab is located on Level 8 of the Physics Research Deck, adjoining the E.C. Stoner building, in room 8.326.
